Here are links to events in the Houston area that *usually* take place in January.  We’ve tried to provide the most direct link to information about the event.  However, you may have to click around a bit depending on the site.

If it’s an event our family has written a post about, there will be a hyperlinked “HFT” next to it.  Click to learn more about our visit.

Arbor Day ~ check your local parks for activities.  The following have links available:

Bayou Bend Family Days ~ third Sunday of the month, September through May

MLK Day Parade

Zoo Lights ~ Houston Zoo, runs late November to early January

While the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo is not until February, they open registration for Field Trips in November.  These trips are often full by January.  Click here to learn more.

If you have any annual events you’d like to recommend, please contact us.
