Bayou Bend Family Days ~ third Sunday of the month, September through May

Chemistry Open House at Texas A&M 

Children’s Museum of Houston Homeschool Day (sometimes at the end of September)

Fire Safety Month ~ Check with your local fire station for activities.  The following stations have websites dedicated to “Fire Fest”:

Katy Rice Harvest Festival

Space Center Houston Homeschool Day

Washington-on-the-Brazos ~ The park offers Ghost Stories, Cemetery Tours, etc. (topics vary from year to year)
